THE STORY ... WHY WE LOVE WHAT WE DO

Welcome to SANDALI ... I can guarantee that you will love these sandals as not only are they beautiful but they are also extremely comfortable & will stand the test of time !!

All the sandals are handmade from thick COW leather & varnished with a special varnish for the finishing touch. We regard our sandals to be of the utmost quality ~ we make all the sandals as per request & we strive in finding you your perfect fit !!

We use sustainable products that are as environmental friendly. In regards to our sandals themselves, our leather skins all come from Italy - we only purchase 'Natural Leather' & finish it off with a special varnish to protect the leather - no dye, no artificial substances. The soles are made from 'Press' rubber ( Recycled Rubber ) which is light & supple yet supportive & comfortable.

All the designs are available in brown, black or caramel toned leather - we also offer selected designs in blue, green, white, orange & red.

We're passionate about bringing quality products that will stand the test of time ~ every time, guaranteed !! SANDALI consist of myself ( Lindy-Lu Victor ) and my life partner/ right hand ( Shlomy Azoulay ) and 2 employees locally from Yaffo -- we both have an intense love and lust for leather -- we both started working with leather a few years ago & we create anything from shoes, bags, sandals & accessories ... Both Shlomy's and my own grandfather worked with leather their whole lives so this is where we both got it from -- it's in our blood ;0)

SANDALI originally started when we moved from England to Israel in early 2008 whereas there was period of 8 months which I needed to wait to get my Spouse Visa sorted out In this period of time I joined Shlomy & returned to working with leather whereas I started creating bags, jewelry & accessories for selling on my Online Shop. I then discovered one of Shlomy's bags from India which was full of leather sandals ( dissembled ) & we then immediately created a new project for ourselves.

All our sandals are handmade locally here in Israel ... We have a Loft /Studio in Tel-Aviv where we produce our sandals locally !! SANDALI is a licensed trademark since 2008 where we started a small entrepreneur enterprise which has grown dramatically within the last 4 years ... we honestly feel blessed by our success however we always say that our product sells itself as our sandals are based on timeless quality, style & comfort. We've been working toward building the business non-stop for four years now - We do everything ourselves -- from the Production, Admin, Shipping to Customer Support - believe in DIY but most importantly adding that personal touch to our business by being physically involved. We regard our sandals to be of the utmost quality & we believe that if we deliver high quality sandals that's not only beautiful but also comfortable then that's what we call priceless !!!!

Shlomy is the master though behind it all He lived and studied the Art of Leather in India for 2 years, a few years locally here Israel He also just finished his Degree in Shoe Master whereas he makes the most amazing shoes & boots so hopefully by the beginning of winter we will be able to start his new collection of all kinds of shoes & boots which we would love to share with Apolis. Shlomy is more the creator & he is in charge of maintaining production whereas I am more the administrator - I am in charge of running our Online Stores, Support, Communications, Marketing & SEO I have to say that we have a hot spot on Google. When the sandals comes from the factory also help to varnish them and do all the painting and designs & decoration as per our orders before preparing them for shipment. I love the idea of learning something from a completely traditional perspective and then using those skills to reinvent the now.
